Big Fun for a Great Cause

Cycling for the Kids

Thank you to everyone who supported this effort this year (2011) and helped us raise $31,219.21, to help children overcome adversity through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.

Cycling for Kids is a dedicated group of cyclists who ride for a purpose. The cyclists participate in the Harpeth River Ride, proudly raising pledges for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.

In 2010, over 1,500 cyclists participated in the Harpeth River Ride. The ride kicks off in Franklin, Tennessee and provides four different routes of beautiful Tennessee scenery for participating cyclists. The routes range from 100 miles, 62 miles, 42 miles and 24 miles in length. Cycling for the Kids participants range from veterans to first-time cyclists.

Cycling for the Kids provides support of the team, fundrasing tools, cycling apparel and a simple way to invest in Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Team members raise either $350 for the official cycling jersey or $700 for the entire kit (jersey and shorts).

Register for the event, decide your route and get ready to ride through spectacular scenery as you help children beat the odds! Visit www.cyclingforthekids.org for more information
