Help for individuals age 17-24 who are homeless or pending an eviction. Must provide proof of homelessness (eviction notice or living in a shelter), be between the ages of 17 and 24, verifiable income and willing to complete an individual plan.

Provides emergency food, clothing, and financial assistance as well as burials and spiritual and medical assistance.

Metropolitan Action Commission;

Provides financial assistance. Also provide breakfast and lunch to children under 18 during the summer. These meals are distributed to local churches, community centers, and summer camps throughout Nashville.

Rooftop is a nonprofit organization that provides rental assistance to individuals and families in Davidson County. The organization, which comprises of faith-based congregations in Metropolitan Nashville, provides funds to individuals and families in need of emergency financial help with the goal of preventing homelessness and providing hope. Centerstone has developed a special approach to help children overcome behavioral health challenges. Their counselors and therapists create an environment of trust to encourage young clients to open up and share their feelings. They develop individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child. Centerstone teams with families, schools and communities to build a network of support that allows healing to occur.

LifeCare offers both individual and group counseling and case management services customized to fit the needs of the individual, couple, single parent, or traditional family who is experiencing any on going issues in their life and need professional help or assistance. Dedicated to helping teenagers effectively transition into adulthood. Oasis Center offers community education through workshops and support sessions that address a variety of issues and needs. Rocketown offers afterschool activities primarily to teens and middle-schoolers. Seventy percent of the kids who take the classes get a scholarship to do so. They also provide free counseling weekdays between 3-6 pm.
