THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This year's Team Rio group may have very well been our hardest-working, most creative fund-raising team yet. Thanks to so many efforts - 2012 Team Rio was able to raise over $90,000 for the children of Big Brothers Big Sisters! (This terrific photo of the team courtesy of our friends at Pupak Photography) To view our top fund-raisers, corporate sponsors, and see each team members' individual totals, visit www.teamrio.kintera.org Looking forward to 2013! About Team Rio Team Rio is a dedicated group of runners and walkers who train with a purpose for Nashville's Country Music Marathon and Half Marathon. Headed by Celebrity Running Captains Marty Roe and Jimmy Olander of Diamond Rio, this year Team Rio celebrates their eight anniversary and participated in the Country Music Marathon on April 28, 2012 proudly raising pledges for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. Team Rio members range from veteran marathon runners to first-time walkers. They train together under the guidance of our team coaches Johana Michel and Jackie Stammen to complete either the 13.1 mile half marathon or the 26.2 mile full marathon. Each tem member is required to raise a minimum of $300 in pledges, but our interactive fund-raising websites using Kintera make that a snap. More than $635,000 in cash donations has been raised for Big Brothers Bi Sisters of Middle Tennessee.
You can still donate, visit www.teamrio.kintera.org.
