Big Brothers Big Sisters & Whole Foods Market Green Hills Hold
"Beards and Man-mosas" Event

Whole Foods Market's Green Hills store and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee will hold a “Beards & MAN-Mosas” event on Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Event features include: $5 beard/stash trims by The Blockhouse and/or Dogfish Head Craft Brewery Namaste Man-mosas. All proceeds from this public event will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.

“We are always open to new ideas in helping reach men who might be interested in talking with us and learning more about becoming a Big Brother,” commented Carlyle Carroll, CEO for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee. He continued, “And when our friends at Whole Foods Market are involved, it’s sure to be a great time!”

“We’re thrilled to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee for our ‘Beard and MAN-mosas’ event,” said Jennifer Anthony-Waller, the Green Hills store Marketing/Community Liaison “They do an incredible job supporting kids in our area by providing much-needed mentorship and, ultimately, changing lives. We hope that the members of the community will come out to get a beard trim by the professionals at The Blockhouse and try a different take on a mimosa. The Man-mosa is made with Dogfish Head Brewery Namaste, a delicious Belgian-style beer brewed with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander – it pairs perfectly with orange juice. This event will certainly be a fun day to celebrate Dad and raise donation dollars for Big Brothers Big Sisters.”
